Here are some of the events/programs that the Library runs on an ongoing basis, as well as information on some of our other services.
Story Time
Story time is every Thursday at 10:30am for ages 3 to 5. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Seniors Coffee Hour
Come and fellowship with us on the last Tuesday of each month at 2:30pm. Free coffee and goodies will be served.
Gaming Saturday
On the last Saturday of each month we have videogames at the library! We play a variety of games from 1:00pm—4:00pm. Watch the library for posters to see what game we’ll be playing!

Book and Magazine Sale
We have an ever changing amount of book and magazines and sometimes videos for sale. They are all 10 cents each!
Computers
We have three computers available for word processing. One of these computers has resume writing software available for use. All three include the Microsoft Office Suite. Two of our computers are available for internet use.
Document Scanning
We do have a scanner available for public use.
Photocopying
We have a photocopier available for use. It copies up to legal sized paper. Photocopies are 10 cents per page and are available in colour.
Faxing
We have a fax machine that is available for use. Sending a fax locally is free of charge. Sending a long distance fax or receiving a fax at the library is $1.00 per fax.

Today, the Wheatland Regional Library provides quality library service through its 46 branches. It is part of a province-wide public library system and is one of ten systems providing library service to the community of Saskatchewan. It is geographically located in west central Saskatchewan and serves almost 87,650 people living in 141 communities in a 49,933 square kilometer area.
The future is bright for regional libraries in Saskatchewan. They provide an unduplicated source of learning and pleasure for hundreds and thousands of people that use them annually. Wheatland Regional Library is proud to be a part of the heritage and the future of rural Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan Library Trustees’ Association (SLTA) is a voluntary association of library trustees from across the province who have joined together in their dedication to help provide library services that will meet the needs of Saskatchewan people and thereby improve their quality of life.
SLTA represents 2,500 trustees representing libraries throughout Saskatchewan, in northern hamlets, rural communities, as well as towns and cities. All persons in Saskatchewan may access the information in these libraries, in whatever media they are provided, without a user fee. Resource-sharing and co-operation are the fundamental strengths of what is called Saskatchewan’s “one province” library system – a system that is the envy of the country.
